A one-man show where circus meets comedy.
In the show, an average comedian tries to tell a joke. But he lacks the words or the right microphone setup. He struggles with various shortcomings, embraces absurdity, and uses whatever means at his disposal to create comic moments. He combines dance, circus, physical comedy, and object manipulation. He celebrates the art of joking, folly, raw humor, comic chaos, and the beauty of happy futility. He invites the audience into a world where minimalism meets eccentricity, and playful folly actually has a deeper meaning.
In his latest performance, Felix Baumann continues his work on the theme of "Body, Comedian and Material" and addresses humor as a choreographic, aesthetic and political tool.
