MALÝ KRÁMEK HRŮZ

 

A horror musical based on the film of the same name, with elements of black humour. It tells a story from the outskirts of an unnamed city, where life is not easy. Everyone tries to earn a little extra however they can, and when they let their imagination run free, they dream only of peace and comfort.

 

This is also true of the employees of Mr Mushnik’s small, shabby flower shop, which is barely surviving. The turning point comes when Seymour, an orphan and promising botanist, brings in a strange plant found during a solar eclipse. All it takes is to put it in the shop window — and both the shop and Seymour instantly become a sensation. Only Audrey, the florist he loves, remains in a relationship with the sadistic dentist Orin and poorly hides the wounds on both her body and soul.

 

Moreover, the strange plant is no ordinary carnivorous plant. It feeds on human blood — and soon, that will no longer be enough. How far is a person willing to go to improve life for themselves and their loved ones? Unknowingly, all the way to the destruction of the world.
