Three siblings come to visit their recently widowed, sad grandfather. Before they go to sleep, Zuzanka decides to conjure up fairy tales from her grandmother's straw hat for the siblings, using selected words, just as their beloved grandmother used to tell them. They embark on a magical journey that shows them how storytelling can help them cope with life's challenges and find solace and hope in a world of fantasy.
