Zátopek

Australian record holder Ron Clarke arrives in Prague in the eventful 1968 to meet the legendary runner Emil Zátopek, whom he admires immensely. In Ron's interviews with Emil, the plot of the film retrospectively returns to the pivotal moments of the athlete's sporting and private life and comes together in a complex portrait of a man who does not lose momentum even after his last race is over and who can fight not only on the athletic oval. The film tells the story of an unbreakable willpower that still inspires thousands of athletes around the world. And also about the unique relationship of two people - Emil and Dana Zátopka - who, despite all the obstacles, spent their whole lives together.
