CINECIRKO: CIRKUS NA PLÁTNĚ

Circus to the theater? Sure. On the street? Also. But to the cinema? Well, why not! CINECIRKO is a special evening created in collaboration with Cirque La Putyka and landing once every two years straight at the Vesmír cinema.
This time we will start with a short event by our CZirkidz – children who are slowly turning into new circus ninjas under the guidance of Australian coaches. Then we will screen the film CESTY about how Cirk La Putyka roams the world, and we will end the evening with a short debate.
And who knows – maybe you'll soon see some of those little acrobats on this very screen. But as stars.

JOURNEYS was the largest project that the Cirk La Putyka ensemble has created so far. Almost 60 acrobats, actors, dancers and musicians gathered on stage. You will see challenging and breathtaking numbers, clown performances and group choreographies. The production is divided into four chapters. The first is dedicated to the history of traditional circus art, which we follow through the Kludský family. The second chapter is about the Cirk La Putyka ensemble, about our personal stories, experiences, and ordinary theatrical life. In the third chapter, we reflect on our work during the pandemic. The fourth chapter is a celebration of a common moment. A celebration of the fact that we are all here together again.
